Who we are
Our therapists provide services to individuals and families, and we are passionate about providing counseling rooted in creativity, compassion, authenticity, humor, determination, and acceptance.
Many of our clients come to see us to learn how to cope with anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergent disorders (OCD, ADHD, Autism), personality disorders, as well processing through the day-to-day frustrations we all experience. Our therapists are trained in DBT, CBT, and play therapy (among other modalities). We work with children, teens, and adults of all ages.
Our therapists are in-network with all major insurance providers (including Medicaid and Medicare), offering affordable therapy services to our local community and beyond. We offer in-person and Telehealth sessions to best suit your needs.
Our Team
Douglas Jones, PhD
Dr. Jones is a licensed psychologist with over ten years of clinical experience. After completing his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, he spent many years engaged in nonprofit service with children in Central America and later India. Upon returning, he continued his studies at the University of Florida graduating Summa Cum Laude with a doctorate in psychology and completed a postdoctoral internship specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety based disorders in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An avid hiker and meditator, he moved to Colorado in 2017.

Roberta DeSalvo, MS, LPCC
Roberta is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) under the supervision of Dr. Jones. Originally from the scenic Oregon coast, she completed her Master of Science degree in Counseling in Portland, Oregon. Her advanced training is trauma-informed and built upon an integrative approach, specializing in working with individuals with disabilities. She is strongly client-focused, operating from the perspective that the client possesses innate wisdom and strength to guide their therapeutic journey. Roberta has resided in the San Luis Valley for the past thirteen years, making southern Colorado her home. She operates out of our satellite office in Sanford, CO, providing services to residents in-person or via telehealth.
